Getting started

  1. Create your first pricing tier (Tiers → Create): pick % off retail, cost-plus, or fixed prices. The tier becomes a native B2B market + catalog in your store.
  2. Share your application form: your store URL + /apps/wholesalekit/apply. Put it behind a "Wholesale" link in your navigation or share it directly with prospects.
  3. Approve your first buyer (Applications): pick their tier, click Approve. They become a native company with payment terms and tax status — and get an email to activate their account.
  4. Watch net terms handle themselves (Net terms): orders on Net 15/30/60 appear automatically with aging buckets and reminder automation.

Common questions

The approve button failed — is anything half-created? No. Every approval step is checkpointed; clicking Approve again resumes exactly where it stopped and never duplicates a company. The error banner tells you the specific cause.

Why can I only activate 3 tiers? Shopify allows 3 active wholesale catalogs on non-Plus plans. Define as many tiers as you like; activate up to 3 at once, or upgrade to Plus if you truly need more.

Prices look wrong for a buyer. Check which tier their company is assigned to (Tiers) and whether a sync is paused (a paused sync banner appears). WholesaleKit never computes checkout prices — Shopify renders your native catalog, so the fix is always visible in the tier, never hidden in our app.

Do you support VAT / EU exemptions? We apply Shopify's native exemption settings, including reseller exemptions where Shopify supports them. We are not a tax engine; complex VAT scenarios should be reviewed with your tax advisor.

Data & uninstalling

Uninstalling keeps all your Shopify data (companies, catalogs, prices, terms) fully working. Our workflow data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.
